Frequently Asked Questions 1. Do you need more than 1 photo to work from? Although I only need one primary photo for my drawing, an extra photo may be useful for reference purposes. 2. Can you change a color photo to a Black&White portrait and vice versa? I can change a color photo to a black-and-white photo, but NOT a black-and-white to color. 3. Problem: I'd like a group portrait, but do not have a group photo. No problem! I just need a photo for EACH person that is to be in the portrait, and I can draw them all as if they were standing together. 4. I don't like how my kid's hair looks in the photo. Can you fix it? Sure. This is a good example of an instance when an extra reference photo would come in handy! Just let me know. I have also added/removed teeth on children's portraits, depending on how the parents wanted them depicted. 5. What happens to the photos I send you? They will be returned to you safe and sound at the time the completed portrait is delivered.. 6. How long do I have to wait for the portrait? Usually anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks, depending on my schedule. When you contact me, I will give you a more exact waiting time for that particular time period. Please order portraits AT LEAST 3 weeks in advance if you need it for a special occasion! 7. I live in New Jersey! Can I pick up the portrait myself, to save on shipping charges? You may be in luck! If you live around the Union County area, I will be more than happy to schedule a delivery. Otherwise, your portrait will be securely packaged and shipped via Priority Mail (unless you have other specifications). |
